ANA MARINI — REFLEXIONES
JUNE 2 – 27 · 2010

An exhibition of new and recent small to mid-size paintings by Argentinian-American artist Ana Marini who takes us on a journey of migrations — from one country to another, one world to another, as well as into the inner spheres of silence. In story-telling images she reflects on her observations and own experience in life, while referring to Latin-American literature, e.g. "A Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez or works by Isabel Allende, in her installations and abstract paintings.
