JACK REILLY — BREAKING AWAY A special feature during the ever-changing “24/7 SUMMER” group exhibition of 24 artists over 7 weeks of summer. Jack Reilly, one of the original artists of the Abstract Illusionism movement in the U.S. in the 1970s became known for his geometric abstract works on complex shaped-canvases, breaking away from traditional forms and limits of painting. In his works, Reilly challenges concepts of illusionary and pictorial space, executed within an abstract painting context. Visual impressions from the Jack Reilly feature. JACK N. MOHR — BEHIND THE SCENES Black and white photographs by Jack N. Mohr taken in the dim backstage light of a photo shooting for a furniture catalog 25 years ago in Berlin, Germany.
